Common questions about cooling, a/c & climate
How do I know which radiator fits my truck?
Radiator fitment depends on engine size, transmission type and whether the vehicle has a tow package. Listings state core dimensions and whether a transmission cooler is included — both must match your original.
Do I need to replace the cooling fan with the radiator?
Not always. If the fan motor still runs and the blades are intact, you can reuse it. If the fan seized or the motor failed, replace both while the cooling system is open.
Why is my A/C blowing warm air?
Common causes are low refrigerant from a leak, a failed condenser or a seized A/C compressor. The condenser and lines are the usual leak points — check them before assuming the compressor has failed.
What is a blower motor and when should I replace it?
A blower motor pushes air through the vents for both heating and A/C. If only one speed works it may be the blower resistor; if there is no airflow at any speed, the blower motor itself has usually failed.
