Fitment Guide

How to find the right part

Three ways, in order of reliability.

1. Match the OEM number

The most reliable method. Every listing publishes the OEM interchange numbers the part replaces. Find the number stamped on your old part, printed on the box, or listed in your service manual, and search our store for it.

OEM numbers look like 31100-PNC-004, FB5Z17757A, or A2128208310 — letters and digits together, usually 8 to 14 characters.

2. Use the fitment table on the product page

Each listing includes a vehicle fitment table listing the makes, models and year ranges the part was cataloged for. Check your year, make, model and engine against that table before ordering.

Fitment is specific. Two vehicles that look identical to the eye can take different parts depending on engine, trim, drivetrain, or mid-year production changes. A 2014 model built late in the year may use the 2015 part.

3. Send us your VIN

If you are not sure, email support@ofhzshop.com with your VIN and the part you need. The VIN encodes the exact engine, trim and drivetrain your vehicle was built with, so we can confirm the part instead of guessing.

Where to find it: on the plate at the base of the windshield on the driver's side, on your registration, or on your insurance card.

Why we ask for fitment confirmation

A returned part costs everyone. We ask you to confirm before you buy, and we publish the application data and OEM numbers that make it possible to check. If we confirm a fitment and it turns out to be wrong, we pay the return label.

Common questions

My part number has an extra suffix. Does it matter?

Sometimes. OEM numbers can carry suffixes for revisions, port of manufacture, or a superseding part. Search for the base number first, then confirm on the listing's fitment table.

Will a part from a similar model fit?

Not necessarily. Suspension, steering, braking and electrical parts are frequently model- and trim-specific. Use the fitment table rather than assuming.

Do you support right-hand drive or non-US vehicles?

Our catalog is built for the US and Canadian market. RHD and export models may not be covered.
